Receiving a Chat
Socialcast uses several different methods to alert you when you have a new chat.
When you receive a new chat message, an orange notification bubble that displays the number of new chat messages appear in the 1-1 Chat on the left navigational panel.
An orange notification bubble next to your private or public chat groups indicates the number of times you have been mentioned in the group.
When you receive a new chat, Socialcast will send you an email notification — as long as you enable the feature in your settings. Go to Settings > Notifications and enable Sends a Chat
. This will trigger an aggregated email for unread chats after five minutes of inactivity.
